Frequently Asked Questions

  • Do you take insurance?

    • No, we do not bill insurance.  You still need insurance for imaging, consults, hospital and urgent care visit.  The costs and efforts associated with billing insurance is substantial.  By not dealing with insurance, providers can focus on the patient and practicing medicine. There are no restrictions put on by insurance companies regarding reimbursement, covered services and documentation.

  • What about labs?

    • You can get labs done at Porter Hospital that will be billed to your insurance.  We can also get discounted pricing on labs through Quest. Lab - this can be done in the office or at the Quest Lab in Rutland.  Your monthly fee will cover a yearly panel of labs (CBC, CMP, A1C and lipid panel) All other labs can be obtained through Quest at low prices if you choose. See pricing.

  • What about prescriptions?

    • We send your prescriptions to the pharmacy of your choice with your insurance information and the pharmacy will run it through your insurance.

    • If you want very discounted generic medications,  we can order them through Andameds - I am considering stocking a list of common medications in the office depending on your feedback and interest ! If your generic medications cost more than $10 for 90 days you should consider this !

  • What will the office hours be?

    •      Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday 8-3 pm

    •      Virtual visits available on Mon & Fri upon request
